Caroline (daughter #4) competed in Ironman Melbourne on March 24th.

An Ironman is not for the faint-hearted, comprising of a 3.8km swim; followed by a 180km bike ride; only to then finish by running a 42.2km marathon!  She did very well by completing it in 10 hours 15 minutes and came 7th in her age group.

Taper? Taper? Yes, of course I've tapered! Be with you in 4hrs...

She has been following a vigorous training program on her property in the outback of WA where she has wonderful team support from husband Nick & daughters, Charli & Lilli, and, of course, internet & mobile phone support from her 4 sisters.

During her week in Melbourne leading up to her event she dined on our very own  “Rural Organics Ironman Meat” !!!!

I believe her success has come from determination as well she also lives a very balanced  happy family and social  life.

YEAH LINER!!

..so if I'm not back by dinner, there's a Rural Organics steak in the freezer. Caroline gives husband Nick
